Santa Came!!!

SANTA CAME!!!!!  So exciting!
Ellie and Abby must have been VERY good girls this year because Santa Claus left a TON of gifts!!!  I think it was the most ever!

Merry Christmas, love Santa!

Santa even left fancy new bikes!  A big, grown-up style bike for Ellie with hand-brakes and gears, and an adorable pink first bike for Abby with training wheels!

Ellie and Abby woke us up at 6:30 so we could all go in as a family to see what Santa had left.    I love the look of surprise and happiness on their faces!!  Abby literally shook like a leaf through all the gift unwrapping.  She was beside herself with excitement!

Santa brought Abby lots of books, puzzles and games, a Rapunzel doll, new train set (which was a little confusing, she thought Santa'd left a boy gift by accident!), a pretend ironing board like the one in her pre-school class, doll clothes, and more!

Santa gave Ellie a new American Girl doll, Marie Grace (the New Orleans historical doll)  as well as all the Marie Grace books.  She was soooo excited, she's wanted Marie Grace for months!  She also received lots of chapter books, games, art supplies (including fancy tape), Holiday Barbie, doll clothes, several American Girl kits, and more!

In their stockings, they discovered glowing bath ducks, fancy washcloths, flavored straws, mini-Coleman lanterns, Squinkies and flip mitten-gloves.

The girls watched Mommy & Daddy open our gifts, then gave each other gifts.  Ellie gave Abby a Tangled activity set and Abby gave Ellie a Hello Kitty art kit.  Sweet sister hugs!!  Then they tried out their new bikes.  Unfortunately, it rained allllll Christmas Day so bike riding had to take place in the kitchen.

They finished off their exciting early-morning with a yummy breakfast of Daddy's sausage balls and milk flavored with special chocolate and vanilla straws from their stockings!
