Ballet Christmas Program

Ellie and Abby's ballet Christmas program was Thursday night.  The ballerinas get to show off what they've learned this semester and it helps build a little 'on stage' confidence in preparation for their big recital in May.  This was Abby's first little performance and we learned we don't have to worry about stage fright!  Maybe it's all the years of watching big sister's ballet programs.

The program started out with the littlest class -- Abby, Grace & Hannah Elaine, led by sweet Rachel.

Abby and Grace had too much fun on the stage!  They didn't want to get down when it was time for the older girls, but they soon found a quiet spot to watch.

Ellie and her classmates were lovely!  Ellie has learned several new complicated moves this year and she did them gracefully on stage.

For the grand finale, the ballerinas held hands and made a big circle on the stage.  Pretty girls!   I love Ellie's happy expression!

After the program, there was a little party with lots of tasty treats and Mrs. Kathy presented each of her ballerinas with a special gift.    We are so blessed to have Mrs. Kathy teaching at the Rec -- she's so kind and gentle with each of her students!  Ellie and Abby adore their ballet classes.
