Ellie's class Christmas party

Ellie partied all day today at school!!  Super fun!!!
The PTA sponsored Santapalooza at Martin today -- movies, donuts, crazy straws, milk and a Santa visit (all while wearing reindeer antlers and Rudolph noses -- so cute!).

Then, it was time for their official class party.  They started out with cookie decorating!  Lots of sprinkles and icing.  Yummy!

Abby is like the little sister of the whole class. . . she's a fixture at Ellie's events, my little sidekick!  But today, there was another special visitor -- a SantaDog, belonging to one of Ellie's classmates.  So funny!

The children made sparkly snow globes!  It was a great project -- baby food jars, baby oil, glitter, silicone and fun trinkets glued to the lids.  This was Ellie and Amelia's favorite activity!

Then they made reindeer food!  Perfect for Ellie's reindeer nose!

Mrs. Querns (Mrs. Porter's teacher assistant) dresses up every year in her adorable elf outfit!!  She's so cute!!

Gingerbread houses were their next activity.  Ellie worked super hard on her pretty, yummy house.  The little bears at the roof peaks are my favorite part!  Abby worked hard on hers, too, but I think she consumed more decorations than she put on her house!

Snacktime!!!  Big giant donuts shaped like mittens, Cheetos, grapes, and adorable reindeer cupcakes!  As a special treat, the children were served their choice of coke or sprite (instead of the standard Capri suns!).

Great school friends -- Ellie and Anna Cate  & Olivia, Ellie and Kaitlyn

Sweet Mrs. Porter with her precious class (and two little sisters -- Maggie & Abby)!  This was Mrs. Porter's last day before her maternity leave -- she had a fun send-off with lots of hugs from her students.  Ellie and her friends are sure going to miss her while she's gone!
