Such a big girl!

Learning to walk. . .
Playing with "big girl" toys!

Precious smile!

Silly Sister Snapshots. . .

soooo relieved to be home from the hospital!

abby fixed her own hair!

who knew chicken ravioli stuffing makes great hair gel?

last weekend, before Ellie got sick, it was sort of cold outside, so she decided to bundle up to play outside, complete with a big mug of hot cocoa!

somehow Abby crawled out of her pants! how'd that happen?

Pumpkins!

We can't get enough of Fall around here! We love pumpkins and Fall decorations! Yesterday, we made a quick trip to the Methodist Church's fund-raiser pumpkin patch to get a few more pumpkins for our collection. Our little mini pumpkin!

Picking out the perfect one...

I'll take these!

Tons of pumpkins!

Seriously, this pumpkin is the color of moldy food. Oddly interesting but not sure I'd want it in my fall display.

M.I.C...K.E.Y. . . M.O.U.S.E!!!!!!! Mickey Mouse!!

Sweet Mr. Mike Becker invited the girls to preview the special items he has for a drawing he's sponsoring later this Christmas season at the Cracker Barrel gas stations. Big giant Mickey Mouse dolls!! How fun! The girls lit up when they saw the twin Mickeys perched on Mr. Mike's office couch.

Abby never stopped eating her cheerio snack. She's an eating machine!!

Granna's Birthday Dinner!

On the 19th, we were invited to help Granna celebrate her birthday at the Dixie Springs Cafe! Thank you for sharing your special day with us! We had a lovely time and Ellie gobbled up her steak!Granna & Ellie enjoying a yummy chocolate dessert with Sheryl, our favorite waitress at Dixie Springs -- she's been serving us there for over 20 years! She's the best!

Papa & Ellie -- and that's a Halloween tree in the background, complete with orange lights, cobwebs and scary black spiders!

Taking after Big Sister. . .

Granna & Abby had a sweet time playing together while I was tending to Ellie in the hospital (poor lovie!). Abby discovered that she loves hairbows just as much as big sissy! Granna would 'style' Abby's hair with a bow and Abby would very carefully pat the bow and giggle. So fancy!!

Sisters. . .

Fall Garden Extravaganza in Copiah County

We braved a chilly day for a trip to the annual Garden Extravaganza in Gallman yesterday. Uncle Phil's ribeye sandwiches were delicious, as always! Ellie loves checking out all the lovely flowers!
This is definitely not a lovely flower. This is Pepper. Probably the ugliest dog I've ever seen. The owner graciously offered to let Ellie pet him, but she didn't want to. Can you blame her?

Sunflowers!!!!!

Ellie wanted to pose by her favorite veggie -- broccoli. We were fascinated by how it grows.

So, we couldn't miss a shot of Abby by her favorite veggie -- sweet potatoes!!

The Pumpkin Patch!

Waiting for the tractor pulled hayride through the farm. The tour took us past a bunch of farm animals (including a bull named "Bubba" that was a big old baby), Christmas trees, pumpkin patches and a catfish pond.

A Zedonk! 50% donkey, 50% zebra, 100% crazy!

A goat-tightrope! This one was about 15 feet in the air! The goats practically galloped across it, even though it was barely 8 inches wide. Sooo funny!

The Perfect Pumpkins were found...

Scarecrow Sisters

Hanging out after the wagon ride. They had a lot of exotic animals in pens to check out and cute places to play!
