Tea for Three

Ellie is quite the party planner. (Hmmmm, wonder where she gets that from?) She's all about elaborate tea parties, complete with fancy attire. The other day, we had a fabulous tea party with imaginary purple petit fours (with pink flowers, of course), muffins, tea and all the trimmings. Even Abby dressed for the occasion!

Abby is on the move. She's rolling everywhere and now she gets on all fours and rocks back and forth. She scoots those little knees forward, but can't quite get the front half going. I think full-on crawling is in our very near future.

Abby has been rolling everywhere lately. But this afternoon, she got up on all fours! What a big girl! She was so proud of herself! I loved watching the determination on her little face.

Sleeping Beauty - Spring Ballet Performance

Ellie's ballet class had their spring recital last night. So Ellie went from a precious pirate to a beautiful ballerina -- all in one day! The ballet classes danced to several praise songs and then did excerpts from Sleeping Beauty. The whole performance was lovely and the girls danced beautifully. Ready to go onstage

The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything!

Yesterday was Ellie's end-of-the-year program at school. The theme was based on "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" - a Veggie Tales movie. The children sang several songs and they were absolutely hilarious! Who knew pirates could be so cute? Ellie & her grandparents -- a very attentive audience!
