Annual Egg Hunt!

Saturday afternoon we attended the annual Easter egg hunt hosted by several Brookhaven Families.  It was a lovely event, as always -- adorable children running around, tasty Easter treats and hundreds of plastic eggs!  Plus, the weather was absolutely gorgeous!  The hunt started with a short blast of an air horn and the egg gathering chaos began.

When the horn sounded, I looked down and saw this most pitiful face!  The loud noise completely unnerved Abby and she spent the hunt in tears, with her head on my shoulder.  Poor little bunny!  I helped her tearfully gather a few eggs for her basket and she finally settled down.

Thankfully, silly bandz bracelets, a loving friend and a sweet lollipop make most tears disappear!

Ellie had an awesome time in the big kids' section gathering eggs with Amelia!
It was a fun way to kick off Easter weekend!
