Abby is two!!!



Abby is two!!  Her birthday was Thursday, and we've tried to make the most of the entire week!!   We love birthdays!   Here she is making cupcakes to share with friends in the church nursery on Wednesday.

Good morning, Birthday Girl!!!

Abby asked to eat her birthday lunch at the Cracker Barrel, so they could sing "Happy To You!"   After her favorite Cracker Barrel meal of macaroni cheese & fried okra, the waitresses clapped and sang to Abby.  She loved it!  Especially when she realized that not only do they sing at Cracker Barrel for your birthday, they give you ICE CREAM!!  Yummy!

She's two!  I still can't believe it!

After a birthday supper at Hal's (Abby's favorite restaurant -- she's a blue plate kinda girl!), Papa & Granna joined us at home for birthday dessert and to watch Abby open her family gifts.  Abby asked us to sing "Happy to you!" about 10 times.  She'd sing along, LOUD AND CLEAR.  It was precious.  She's say "Let's sing it again! Sing with me everybody!"  She loved being the center of attention for her special night!

 Ellie was soooo sweet to ask if she could select a gift for Abby.  Ellie bought her a pretty hair clip and a fuzzy Elmo photo album. 

From Mommy, Daddy & Ellie, Abby received a princess cape, special plate and a pink stroller for her Bitty Baby doll.
