A lovely day at the ballet!

Saturday was our annual Girls Day at the Ballet!!!
Granna, Ellie, Aunt Sarah and I had a fabulous brunch at Bravo (cups of soup and lump crabmeat omelettes for Sarah and myself, a fancy bruschetta pizza topped with fresh basil for Ellie and veal picatta for Granna, followed by a tiramisu shared by all of us! Delish!!), shopped around Highland Village and then we were off to the ballet!
Ballet Magnificat is such an amazing ballet company, with a beautiful Christian message. Their version of the Nutcracker, A Christmas Dream, is the perfect way to celebrate the Christmas season! Ready to go in Thalia Mara Hall.
The beautiful 'curtain', before the show

Ellie, anxiously awaiting for it to begin! She remembered so many details from last year's performance, and was so excited about going this year. She could hardly finish her meal because she wanted to hurry up and get to the theater!

Following the performance, Ballet Magnificat hosted a cookie party with the dancers. Ellie wanted to pose by a dancer from her favorite scene with the Spanish girls. She loved the "red dress girls"!
It was a truly special day! Thank you, Granna!!!
