Ellie's class had a pre-Thanksgiving field trip to the historic log cabin downtown. I wasn't able to attend but Ellie's classmate's mommy was sweet to send me some photos to share! They got to explore the cabin and listen to the "old fashioned lady" talk about "old fashioned times" (Ellie's words!). It was a fun adventure! My sweet Ellie, in front of the log cabin. The old cabin was actually located across the street from our home for many years, when Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Smith owned it. It was moved about 10 years ago to it's downtown location when it was donated to the City of Brookhaven.
