Last day of school!

Here's Ellie on her first day of school, last August.

And here she is today, the last day of 4K! She seems so grown up!

I was a little sad when I picked her up at lunch and inside her bag were her crayons, markers & big pencil from this year. She learned so much in Mrs. Paula's class and had a blast with all her sweet friends.

A special Mother's Day gift from Ellie

Ellie made me this precious plate at school for Mother's Day. I love it and I especially loved seeing how very pround Ellie was of her lovely gift. It is going to hang in a special place in our kitchen. She wrapped it herself and added the cute tissue butterfly. The butterfly's body said "Butterfly hover near my mother, tell her that I dearly love her!"

So they could practice for their recital, Ellie's ballet school performed at two nursing homes last week. The residents loved the little girls in their sweet tutus, twirling around their dining rooms. It was precious.
