Tim's beach birthday!

What better place for Tim to spend his birthday than at the beach?  His big day fell on our last full day of vacation.  The Baileys had to leave the day before so we were able to spend Tim's day just the four of us.  

We started celebrating the night before with a dinner at his new favorite restaurant in the whole wide world -- Stinky's Fish Camp.

The next morning, on Tim's real birthday, we relaxed and alternated beach/pool/beach/pool.  There was a huge sand bar just off the beach and the girls spent hours wading out to it and running across it.  Over and over!   They had a blast!   The water was the perfect depth for both girls (Abby with a swim ring). 

Tim requested feta pizza and boiled shrimp for his birthday supper.  We dined by the pool.

Ellie selected a fun dessert for Daddy's birthday cake -- a huge wedge of cheesecake, dipped in chocolate, and topped with whipped cream and a chocolate covered strawberry.  YUM!!!  Happy Birthday to Tim!

It was a sweet, special day and the perfect ending for our trip.
