Mommy & Me

Tim, Ellie & Abby prepared a tasty birthday supper for me last week when I returned home from a fun day of shopping in Jackson with my mom! They made my favorite: Grilled chicken salad with balsalmic vinegarette dressing. Tim grilled the chicken and Ellie did all the rest -- including table decorations and mood music on my ipod playing in the background.

One of Tim's patients sent Ellie a USM tee shirt as a thank you for treatment. It actually matches one Tim has which thrilled Ellie! As soon as we got home, she had to change into the new shirt and a coordinating skirt & ponytail holder!

Soccer Season Finale

Last week, Ellie had her last soccer game of the season so we celebrated with a pre-game team party at Broma's.

Here is Abby's super sweet babysitter, Ms. Tammy. Tammy takes care of Abby at church and occasionally at our home. Tammy's daughter, Taylor, took these last night in the church nursery.

Shoes & Bows! Abby's new favorite things!

Granna took these sweet photos this morning at their house (a few minutes before Abby ate a handful cat food -- yucky!! Poor panicked Granna!!).

Abby's new favorite word is "shooz". She loves them and reminds us about shoes every time we dress her. She'll hold up her foot and say, "Shooz! Shooz!" and will model them for herself once they're on!

Okay, that is an excessively large bow for a one year old, but hey, it matched! And we do live in the bow-lovin' South!!

Hanging out Saturday afternoon. . .

Somebody stole our pumpkins Friday night from our front walkway fall disply. How mean was that? Anyhow, Ellie was sooo disappointed so she made this sign and put it on the screen door. I love the diagram at the bottom -- in case the 'bad guys' can't read. Tim tracked down several replacement pumpkins so we'd have more to carve and light for Halloween. Hooray! Daddy saved the day!!
