Abby and Kloey have become pretty good friends -- Kloey is such a good sport. Abby pats Kloey and says "ttssssss, tttssssss" -- her word for kitty (all she's ever heard our cats do is hiss! ha ha!).

Ellie had the privilege of meeting Miss Mississippi a few weeks ago at a community meeting. Miss Mississippi signed a photo for Ellie, which is now on display in a prominent spot on Ellie's desk. Ellie & Miss Mississippi's photo was on the front page of the local paper the next day -- very exciting! Here's a photo from the special day!

First Soccer Game!

Ellie's very first soccer game was last night. They tied, 6-6.

Our little team played so well! It's going to be a fun season!

Choo Choo! All Aboard!

Papa took Ellie on a surprise train trip the other day from McComb to Brookhaven. It was so great -- especially since Ellie had been sick with the crud for a few days, missed school, and was soo ready for an adventure! Abby and I met them at the train station in Brookhaven. Papa and Ellie had the nicest time together on their train journey. The conductor brought them comfy pillows and took such great care of the cute pair.
