Abby's Birthday Celebration Week



We LOVE birthdays!!!  Abby turned 3 on the 6th and we celebrated alllll week!!  She loved all the extra attention and we enjoyed watching the delight on her sweet little face!
Celebrating started with a pre-birthday party gift from Papa & Granna (party photos in another post!).



Two pretty outfits!  A fun twirly skirt set and a lovely light pink church dress.

On Wednesday of her birthday week, Abby brought owl cupcakes and goody bags to her classmates and teacher.  Inside the bags were owl shaped crayons and owl notepads.  The school mascot is an owl -- whooo doesn't love owls?

PENGUINS!!!!!!  Abby has named them Big Penguin and Baby Barbie Penguin.

The penguins joined us for a birthday treat at Janie's.  Yummy!! 

Mmmmm!  Alien cupcakes!  Not very birthday-ish, but super funny!

On her birthday evening, she opened gifts from Daddy, Mommy & Ellie!

Tangled tee!  Abby loves that movie -- she sings all the songs and will randomly recite lines from the movie.  Notice she's wearing a princess dress-up dress, part of her gift from Nana & Foo-foo.

Hooray!!  A Tangled Tower!!  Rapunzel's hair glows!

Penguin boots and a matching outfit.  And Ellie gave her an adorable card and a hilarious 'hide the pink sock monkey' game.

And the biggest gift -- a p'tent (Abby's word for tent!).  Several naps have occurred in the p'tent since her birthday.  It's her new favorite spot!

Look who's 3!!!!  We topped of the week with a birthday supper at Papa & Granna's after a day at the Ole Brook Festival.
