Today was the last day of Vacation Bible School. Ellie and Abby had an exciting time 'exploring the cosmos' & learning about God's word. Ellie came home with a bag of beautiful craft projects, ready for display and a heart full of new bible verses.

VBS final program --Darth Vader & his Star Wars crew revealing how much money the VBS'ers raised for this year's donation. The money raised will help fund a sports camp for less-fortunate children in our community.

Mr. Bill made a wager with the VBS'ers that if they could raise $1000 for the sports camp, he would shave his head AND wear an Ole Miss shirt, quite a bet for such a HUGE Auburn fan with usually thick hair! The children raised $2300! So Bill dutifully sat on the front steps of the church yesterday, surrounded by 100 cheering kids, and let our pastor shave his head.
