Got milk?

Today was Dairy Day at our summer farmer's market. The local extension office had a very special dairy display for children -- a cow they could milk! Sooo funny!! Walking along the railroad tracks at the Farmer's Market, looking for the cow.
Farmer Ellie & Farmer Abby in front of the big cow!

Learning to milk a cow.

Abby was really into the cow-milking!

Good thing it wasn't a real cow or she would've been kicked in the head for trying to milk it from this end!

Cow Pats

There were a couple of sweet baby goats at the Farmer's Market too!
They are only two weeks old & still being fed with bottles.

Abby wasn't too sure what to think about the goats but she gave Ramie a nice pat on the head anyhow.

Ellie's turn with the goats!
Sweet Ramey with her brother, Stump, in the background. Ellie said they are really soft!

After milking the 'cow' and playing with the baby goats, the girls were treated to ice cream sandwiches. . .

. . . and chocolate milk. YUMMY!!
A fun afternoon adventure for my little City Slickers!!!!
