Yesterday, Ellie's class had a field trip to the Mississippi Museum of Art for Jim Henson's Fantastic World. It was a blast! Tim and I had just as much fun as the children, remembering all our favorite Jim Henson characters, and looking at all the amazing sketches & behind the scenes information.
We weren't allowed to take photos inside the display, so here is one from their website of Jim & some of his characters.
The real Mahna Mahna puppets were there!! Our favorites! And we saw Kermit, Bert & Ernie, Rowlf the dog and more!
After the tour, the class was treated to a special workshop in one of the museum's classrooms. They made paper bag puppets.
