Pottery Workshop

Yesterday was my first session teaching a week-long pottery workshop with 5 home schooled girls (and Ellie, of course!). They got to play with the clay, rolling it out and cutting it into shapes to use for ornaments, jewelry and magnets. Some girls even experimented with a little hand sculpting. They were all so creative! I can't wait to see how they do with the bisque and paint at our next session. Ellie, ready for class!
How cool is this horse? Olivia hand sculpted it!
Some of the finished products. They'll be fired and the girls will paint and glaze them, and I'll re-fire their completed pieces.
