Summer's End

We had a great summer!!  Pretty lazy at times, super busy at times, too.  Perfect mix!  And the perfect way to end the summer in Brookhaven is with a visit (okay, several visits) to the Exchange Club Fair! 

Papa and Abby had a ball riding the train around the park.  Ellie dared me to ride the Ferris wheel with her (I think I traumatized her friend Annie, who rode with us, with all my freaking out the entire ride!  Not a fan of heights).  Ellie and Annie rode every ride in the park at least twice.

The girls consumed their weight in cotton candy and junk food.  Mmmmm!!!! Can't get any better than that!!

One morning, the girls were asked to dog-sit for a few minutes while one of my co-workers ran a few errands.  They loved playing with Darth, Sam's dog.  He's hilarious.   Ellie was fresh out of BARL Camp so she's an expert on leash duty and Abby followed Darth around with a bowl of water.  She was soo worried he was thirsty.
