Ellie's American Girl Birthday Weekend pink hotel room!

Ellie had lots of surprises for her American Girl birthday celebration weekend!!
(Actually, she's getting to celebrate all month, her actual birthday isn't until the 22nd!).

Before we left for Atlanta, we gave her a special tote bag full of car activities.

Also in it was a personalized Passport for Fun, full of things to do over the weekend.

One of the biggest surprises was an American Girl room at the Marriott!  She was so surprised when we got to the hotel!
Ellie had a V.I.G. (Very Important Girl) check in, complete with a pink carpeted entrance.  During check in, after she signed herself and her doll in, she was presented with a V.I.G. card, a special personalized note from the hotel staff, a gift certificate for one item in the hotel snack shop, and a yummy lollipop.

Checking in!

When we walked into the room, to the delight of the girls, EVERYTHING was pink and girly!  Even the wastebasket and alarm clock!

Ellie & Abby each received a special bed (to keep!) for their dolls.

Ellie & her doll were given soft bathrobes to use during our stay.  There were even pink towels and a pink beanbag!!

Pink baths!!!

After bathtime, Granna gave Ellie & Abby coordinating girl and doll nightgowns, in pink, of course!

Could it get any better than this?

Just as we were settling in for the night, there was a knock at the door . . .it was a special room-service delivery of pink sparkly cookies and milk!  Yummy!!!

Smiles & sleepy snuggles!!!!

The next morning, we went down to the hotel restaurant where the hostess said "Table for 6?"  Oh yes! Two adults, two girls, two dolls!  We were seated at a special reserved pink table!

Ready to go to the American Girl store!!!
