Fire Station Field Trip

A couple of weeks ago, Papa & Granna took Abby on a little field trip to the fire station.  Abby had been asking to see the "big fire trucks", since we drive by the fire station almost daily and count the fire trucks.  When they arrived at the station, the very nice fireman gave Abby a tour of the fire truck and let her stand on it, much to her delight!  She loved checking out the fire truck and told them there wasn't a baby seat in it for The Abby.  But then, the firemen kindly asked if Abby would like to hear the truck's engine and siren. . . she was totally not into that (as you can see by the above photos).   As soon as the siren/engine was turned off, the Abby waterworks also shut off and all was well again for The Abby.  Abby is still talking about her fun trip to see the "Too Big Fire Truck Abby" and she's worn her dress-up fire hat around the house all week.  Thank you Granna & Papa for the exciting field trip!!
