Daddy's little nurses!

Ellie and Abby have been soo sweet to their Daddy, helping him recover from yesterday's big-old hernia repair surgery. Yesterday afternoon, a few hours after we got home, quietly waiting for Daddy to wake up.

Ellie made this card for him at Grannas, while we were at the hospital. The drawing made him laugh (ouch! stitches!)!

Ellie asked me to make "nurse hats" for the girls to wear while they tended to their patient. Their hats will get lots of use during his recuperation at home the next two weeks!
